The excerpt lives in the CMS as plain text. Paste it in and the reader re-typesets every page, drop cap included, at every screen width.
- A page for every book
Each title gets its own page from the CMS — cover, story, the galley and a moving press marquee. Edit a title once and it changes everywhere.
- Praise, set like a jacket
Press quotes wipe in, a papers marquee drifts past, and an ink-filled first line sends readers on to the chapter.
- Events and a newsletter
A dated events diary, then a slanted letter that points readers to your newsletter: “Dates reach the letter first.”

- A loader that pulls a proof
The page is typeset, inked and turned open; leaving turns it back. Quicker on repeat visits, and it can never get stuck.
- Phones get their own reader
On a phone the galley switches to a lift-and-slide turn, the lens works by press-and-hold and the book stack flows flat.
- One palette, three typefaces
Seven colour tokens restyle every surface, and the three typefaces swap from the properties panel — the reader included.
- Search engines read the chapter
The chapter is served as real text for crawlers, screen readers and reduced-motion visitors. Favicon and share image are set.

Do I need to know how to code to use QUARTO?
No. QUARTO is a Framer template: every word, colour, font and image is edited on the Framer canvas or in the properties panel and the CMS. A Start Here page inside the project lists every edit a author & book launch site needs.
Do I need a paid Framer plan?
Not to remix and edit — a free Framer account is enough. To publish on your own domain you'll need a Framer site plan, paid to Framer, not to us.
What do I get after paying?

Can I use QUARTO for client work?

Yes. QUARTO ships with its own desktop, tablet and phone layouts, a real mobile menu, and it is checked down to 320 px wide before it is listed.
